5 gal can produce huge healthy plants. In fact, seen 1 gal produce plants 6' and more. I would not suggest this but one can if need be.
The most addictive trait about marijuana, is growing it.

Same here, I flowered my first mother here this summer. It was s in 3 gallon. pulled over 4 zs off of her.
I was really pleased and I tend to watch DF's grows in helping me out in growing in soil. I am slowing my hydro perpetual grow down and will have one Soil in the flower Room at all times now. I was very pleased with the yield. I admit it took about twice as long to flower, but with that type of yield with one plant, I can't pass that up and want to try it again.

My friend grows 6-8' plants in 5 gal buckets. I'm not sure that is optimal growing, but it can certainly be done.
