Listed as used but looks new. Feller said he used it for one grow...Coulda bid on it at 280 but homie had pictures of his plants in the listing and did'nt know it so I took the buy it now before it got reported. Cost him $25 to ship it too so $25 of that $320 went to usps

Didn't see it mentioned yet about the c.a.p. xtreme leds and california lightworks. The guys at california lightworks started off with making the xtremes fo c.a.p. and then came out with the solarstorm and solarflares. Similar outter builds, same high quality internal components but using 5w vs 3w. Glad to hear good results with them.

Stealth Hydro now has the CAP Xtreme LED 130W for $399.00 + $4.00 shipping. I don't know if that's a good buy, but hey $4.00 shipping that's got to account for something vs other distributors.

I'm still going to get a Solar Storm 400 when I ever get my my grow going.

Well hopefully around Xmas the price will drop. I paid 320 for my CAP light i do not feel that it is a 400$ light. I also plan on getting two solar flares once my funds are looking better. If I can find a deal on the CAP lights I wouldnt mind owning another or two of them. Great lights all around just too pricey from most sellers.

I'd give SH a call...maybe use the bubblehead discount which I think is 10% and see if ya cant get for a better price. $4 shipping counts a lot too cuz some places wanna charge close to $30 for shipping a CAP.

I think another good indicator on these lights is that a lot of growers have them but they dont go up for sale on ebay hardly ever. My solarflare was the 1st one I ever saw on ebay too. When folks get a good light they hold on to them like they have vapor lock!!

I found some for $320 plus about 20 for shipping. So for two CAPS 640 with shipping. Tempting. I would like 2 more CAP leds and 2 solar flares.

hey peeps! just want to remind all the international shoppers that there are 2 LED companies(i know of and probably more) that offer free international shipping!!! our awesome sponsors for this months contest, area51 and prow-grow LED. so...if you're an international cheap charlie like me and looking for an economical lighting option(not to mention its cool and trippy) consider LEDs. we know the start up can be more but the running costs and no bulb replacement costs will see you far into the future. plus with free shipping(at least in my region it only cost me 30 bucks more to get the PG-180 than a local(we are 240v btw, so most local stuff is chinese) 250w hps...no brainer really plus teh LEDs are good for 110-240 voltage...so...you get american quality(which is good) at american prices(which are cheap) and free shipping so the whole international shipping arm and a leg cost will not be your arm nor leg.

so...dont buy chinese LED panels please, they give LED grow lights a bad name, ive heard of some Swedish ones working well, but only heard of not seen with my eyes. and in general when buying internationally check the voltage will be suitable in your region.

so...you gonna step it up and get an LED or spend the dif on ventilation and electricity? its up to you but for me growing in teh tropics, with this info...yea i was gonna go LED fo sho

    peace
